We presented Guy Salter, chair of the Walpole Crafted mentoring programme, with this thank you gift at our leaving dinner. Each of the 11 mentees made a letter each using their material and craft. I made the O, which is a double ring of micro paved stones on silver, unfortunately my budget wouldn’t stretch to diamonds so this particular piece is CZ’s! My favourite letter is Ben Gaskells’ stone carved G. Ben makes amazing art objects carved in hard and precious stone.
